Andree Martinez

Andree was born within El Paso Texas. She was born and brought up in Chihuahua Mexico. She comes from a family that is awash in entertainment genes. She grew up in an entertainer family like her sibling Karla Martinez, host of the Univision show Despierta America (1997)). Since the age of a child the family of her mother was constantly surrounded by TV show hosts such as Karla Martinez (Host of DespiertaAmerica on Univision)! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in the country. The vice president is in charge of the organization's activities and programs that focus on safety of workers, corporate security and business resiliency and business resiliency, which are top priorities for SCE. Martinez provides safety managers throughout the entire company mentorship, quality programs and support in achieving the safety objectives for their work group. Prior to taking on his current position Martinez was the director of Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. In the past, he was as the director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. Through the 30 years that he spent at SCE, Martinez held several positions of leadership in programs aimed towards improving the performance of employees and implementing corrective actions. They included roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS where he was responsible for the security of public and employees.
